Cat Camp is an opportunity for the freshman class to learn from Texas State upperclassment what it means to be a Bobcat in a fun and relazed atmosphere. Cat Campu is an optional two-day experience for students wanting to: learn about all the reasons to be proud of being a Bobcat; being their lives "on the hill" with new friends; learn about Texas State spirit; learn about traditions we hold dear.
The Bobcat Bond Program is a student service provided by the Retention Management & Planning Office. The program pairs second year and transfer students with staff, faculty, and peer/student mentors. The commitment to help new Texas State students acclimate to campus has resulted in higher GPAs and increased retention. The Bobcat Bond Program gives new students opportunities to have a successful collegiate career and supports students through academic and social activities.
